I found Magic Land!
I found this big, beautiful Amanita on a walk by the Sandy River Delta. Unfortunately, I didn't have my camera with me so I was forced to pick it.
Hey Harper, I think that's what mine must have looked like in its prime. The "owner" of it said that it was practically glowing for a couple of days. I like the orange versions of these Amanita's.
I should so do my project on amanita muscaria. That one totally looks like the Mad Hatter should be sitting on it somewhere down Alice in Wonderland's rabbit hole. That is a big mushroom.
